Short version: this site collects as little as it can, sets no cookies, and never sells or shares anything about you.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes basic technical details — IP address, browser type, the pages requested — to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Drop a Note

If you send a note, what you type (and the contact detail, if you choose to leave one) is stored by Netlify Forms and forwarded to me by email. I use it only to read and, if you asked, reply. It's never published, shared or added to a mailing list — there isn't one.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies. That's why there's no cookie banner.

Traffic stats

There's no visitor analytics running at the moment. If I add some, it'll be a cookieless, aggregate-only tool, and this page will say which one.

I also use Google Search Console, which shows aggregate search data (which searches led to the site, how often it appeared). It doesn't identify individual visitors.

Embedded GIFs

Some posts show GIFs loaded from GIPHY. When they load, GIPHY receives standard request details such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.

Other sites

Links out — to Sentinel, brokers, tools or anywhere else — go to sites with their own privacy practices. This page only covers alytlife.com.

Use Drop a Note and say what you'd like removed; I'll delete it.
