Why I'm building Alyt in the open

Most of what you read online shows the trophy and hides the training. You usually only get the good stuff — “I made a bajillion dollars on this trade”, “bank account with a bajillion dollars” — and never the fumbling that got there, or the times it went sideways.

Here on Alyt: it’s a journal of the journey. The good, the bad and the ugly and the fugly.

I’m not building it because I’ve figured money — or anything else — out, but this is my step 1 of building something. Writing things down in public is a way to stay honest, or I’d like to think it does.

Investing, the odd tool I’m building, keeping up with AI, the occasional book — if I try it and there’s a lesson in it, it’ll be an entry here on Alyt.

I try to keep the Journal entries as real as possible, real numbers, real context and honest conclusions. The Workshop is whatever I’ve built, or attempted to.

Nothing here is advice — mostly this is just me trying things and reporting back.
